Overview
Bōde, an innovative online platform, with the goal of revolutionizing the home buying and selling experience. They sought my expertise to craft a distinctive logo and brand identity, powered by digital activation, and leading to a comprehensive approach to marketing and design.
Objective
The primary objective was to leverage the unique nature of this platform to help them stand out in their market, with market transparency driving everything. How do we brand and market a platform that allows technology to empower it’s users? By allowing the technology to stand front and centre, with their AR powered signage as the centrepiece.
Brand Identity
Initiating the project, I helped to reimagine the traditional realtor sign by leveraging Augmented Reality (AR) technology. This innovation opened up a digital experience, providing users with information previously concealed behind the realtor curtain. This approach not only modernized the real estate transaction but also set the foundation for a cohesive brand identity. A real example of what I consider to be Product Led Branding.
Digital Activation
To make our For Sale signs come alive, I worked along side our AR specialist to design an App that seamlessly activated the sign based on image recognition. This integration of digital technology into the traditional real estate process executed our Brand Strategy to provide transparency to our customers, empowering them to buy and sell on their own terms.
Campaign
To drive traffic to the platform itself, we executed digital awareness campaigns targeted at early adopters. We continued to promote the brand by using our distinguishing signage as the main focal point. This tied in our digital product with real world application. From the initial brand development to the detailed digital and campaign designs, the cohesiveness of the brand (from Brand ID to Product to Marketing) was a key factor in the success of the product launch.
Outcome
The Bōde project exemplifies the impact of a well-thought-out brand experience, from reimagining traditional elements to incorporating innovative technologies. Bōde is now positioned as a disruptor in the real estate market, offering a modern, user-centric platform for buying and selling homes. They now have over $400 million in real estate sold.
